With so many people making all sorts of music those days in Ghana from Gospel through Highlife, Neo-Cultural Tempo to Hiplife, it is very difficult for the few exceptional talented ones to get noticed. But there is this young musician whose background and intense hard work is capturing the hearts of the most critical Ghanaian music lovers and enthusiasts.  With a name that sounds like a visit to the galaxy, NINO as a showbiz name, raises questions in the listeners ears, but the young man comes out as a unique person with impressive artistic education and skills.

Born on a Friday, his full name is Agyemang Kofi Offeh. His love for music captured his heart and mind at a tender age; he was so engrossed in it that even when playing football with friends, he will be singing alongside the rhythm of the game. Music was and is still his cherished hobby and talent. Little did he know that his cherished hobby, music making experience would one day become a career.

His formal artistic education started at  the Adventist Prep School choir where he distinguished himself as one of the best soloists. One of the hallmarks of his days at the Junior High School was his representation of Kumasi in a National Choral Competition in year 2002-2003, where he was adjudged the best singer. Nino has since that time become very vital and a force to reckon with in every choir he joins.
Nino continued his powerful renditions in his Secondary school days at Prempeh College. He was part of the famous Trio on campus (Kunta.Tintin.Scobo aka KTS).

Nino is not an ordinary musician but a learned one who made sure he would understand the business side of the music industry. He has a degree, Bachelor of Business Administration, with majors in Banking and Finance at Valley View University.

While at the Valley View University, he continued his music exploration and education by initiating and co-founding many music groups, all of them that chalked successes in their specialized areas. He had an Accapella Singing group among his peer and a  Minstrel Choir for the children of the lecturers of the University. Nino days at VVU were as memorable as today. A Music fan of his commended…”he’s got to perform on bigger stage like the Ghana music awards.

Nino is a master of all forms of music genres from Classical, Soul, RnB, Jazz, Highlife, Accapella or Choral music. One advantage he has over his contemporaries is that he is a multi-lingual singer and sings proficiently in English, Twi  and French languages. He sang and continues to sing with passion and zeal. “Anytime he sang the whole campus was moved”…another student reiterated. Is it any wonder that many top musicians and music producers are endorsing such an up and coming star?
